home of an imaginary being
I designed this house based on a story in the ‘Book of Imaginary Beings’ by Jorge Luis Borges. The story is about a Celestial Stag that is doomed to live underground but longs for a life above ground. As soon as the stag reaches above ground it will turn into a smelly substance that causes death. This undergrond house gives him a life in which he still has contact with the world above ground.
